From Points North get to Route 24 South towards Newport. 

Rte. 24 South to Portsmouth/Bristol exit (exit #2 - Near Roger Williams University Housing & Conference Center - on right)

Left off exit, turn right at light onto Rte. 138 (East Main Rd) South.

Go through 9 traffic signals, this includes caution lights. 

Be prepared as you pass the RI State Police Barracks on your right, the drive to the Brown House is very soon on your left. It is marked by a sign for Glen Farm and the Seveney Sports complex. Turn down this drive, it is Linden Lane. (2 separate lanes, stay to the right)

The Leonard Brown House (yellow with green roof) is at the end of the straight part of the lane.

From Points South get to Route 138 East towards Jamestown & Newport. 

From the Pell Bridge (a.k.a. Newport Bridge) (toll)
At eastern end Stay left toward Portsmouth, Middletown, Fall River
At end of exit go left at light, (Newport Grand is across street)
Go up hill, (Newport Daily News on right), Stay straight until 2nd traffic light, (Sunoco station across street on right)
Go left onto Rts. 114 & 138 North
You'll pass Rocky's Hardware and Newport Ford on the left, Shopping centers will appear on the right
Stay on Rte 138 (East Main Rd.) which means bear RIGHT at the intersection light
(Brooks Maxi-Drug on Rt, Walgreens across street)
Continue on through Middletown and into Portsmouth.
Pass the Pennfield School on your right, St. Mary's on the left, go through light at Sandy Point Rd. 
The drive to the Brown House is very soon on your right. It is marked by a sign for Glen Farm and the Seveney Sports complex. Turn down this drive, it is Linden Lane. (2 separate lanes, stay to the right)
