Summer 2007 - The repaired/rebuilt and new windows were put in and the front porch area and roof line facia were repaired, prepped and painted.

Fall 2006 - With the extensive damage to the south wall repaired and new clapboards put on, the finish work began. Windows that had been repaired were reinstalled in the front of the house and in the upper floor on the ell section. Campion Painting did a wonderful job of prepping, priming and painting the south wall, front sw corner and a good start on the back main part of the house.

Spring/Summer 2006 -

Winter / Spring, 2006 -

New support beam in ell section

Ongoing work over the winter and into spring included... * Establishing electrical service to the house. * Windows - old usable windows have been removed, cleaned up, repaired and are being painted in anticipation of being reinstalled soon. New windows have been built to replace those that were beyond repair. * A leak in the back roof area has been repaired and that area will be reshingled soon. * A plan for the concession area has been drawn up and the process of defining, permitting and building has begun. As part of that the wall beams that were located in the center of the kitchen area have been removed and a new support structure is now in it's place (see photo at left)

Summer / Fall, 2005 -

September, 2003 -

April, 2003 -

Front deck floor finished, corner sills rebuilt and clapboards replaced. Windows have temporary plexi-glass to allow light in but keep weather out.

June 9, 2001 - August 1, 2001

At left, the front porch was removed and the new framing begun on June 9, 2001.   At right, the new mahogany decking is almost complete as the rebuild of the front porch continues. Aug. 1, 2001

May 29, 2001 - Major structural work was completed over the winter in the interior, fire damaged areas. The second floor front facade was rebuilt, along with corner boards and sills. The new shingles are on and we are ready for the FRONT PORCH!

June 20, 2000 - The shingles and roofing materials donated by JT's of Middletown are delivered and the new roof begins to take shape.

March 25, 2000 - An open house was held to show progress made so far and invite the community to come see. In case you didn't make it here are a few photos.
