St. Barnabas Basketball CAL

Coaching Requirements

All coaches must obtain the ASEP certification during their first season of participation in the league (NO EXCEPTIONS; regardless of prior experience). The ASEP is a lifetime certification. In addition, all coaches need to complete the parish 'Safe Environment' training and submit to a state background check. These are annual requirements. The easiest way to satisfy the requirements for these latter two is to report to one of the parish-wide training sessions. This year the training sessions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, September 11th and 12th, from 6:15 to 7 PM in the parish hall. If you can not make one of these 2 meetings, alternate arrangements must be made with the parish office. In this case, please call Mary Lou Proulx at 683-1343 prior to visiting.
