of The Brown House
Mission: To retain and utilize the historical significance of the Leonard Brown house for the balanced use and enjoyment of all Portsmouth Residents.
The Friends of the Leonard Brown House at Glen Farm, Inc. is a non-profit, community organization [501(c)(3)]. Donations to us are tax deductible.
A reconstructed well house was built and donated in honor of Paul Chappell. The plaque reads "A True Son of Portsmouth, Paul M. Chappell, 1928 - 2000, He lived well, laughed often and loved much".
The Friends of the Brown House are part of Clements' Marketplace's donation program. Please save your Clements' register receipts for us! Bring them to any event at the Brown House or just mail them to Friends of the Brown House, 2200 East Main Rd., Portsmouth, 02871
